Mensa or Mense

I have decided to replace the Rumi for the day with a new feature. The MENSA test of the day. This is a fun test designed to see if your brain is word or picture orientated. I will give you a clue every day and you will have to decipher what it says. The next day I will give you the answer.

Lets start with an easy one:

HEAD
HEELS
Good Luck!!

Today's Rumi

Deafened by the
voice of desire you
are unaware the
Beloved lives in the
core of your heart.
Stop the noise and
you will hear His
voice in the silence.

Today's Rumi

Be careful not to regret
the past. Be a Sufi,
don't talk of the past. You are
the son of the moment,
you are young,you have
vanquished time. This
short present moment
must not be wasted.

Today's Rumi

Dance when you are
broken open, Dance when
you have torn the
bandages off, Dance in
the middle of the fighting,
Dance in your blood,
Dance when you are
perfectly free.

Today's Rumi

The minute I heard my first love story
I started looking for you,
not knowing
how blind that I was

Lovers don't finally meet somewhere
They're in each other all along.

Today's Rumi

I asked for a kiss
you gave me six.
Whose pupil were
you to become such
a master? Full of
kindness,
generosity... You
are not of this
world.

Today's Rumi

Your thinking is like a
camel driver and you are
the camel: it drives you
in every direction under
its bitter control.

Today's Rumi

Many of the faults you
see in others, dear
reader, are your own
nature reflected in them.
As the Prophet said, 'The
faithful are mirrors to one
another'.

Today's Rumi

If the tree was able to
move from place to place;
It would not suffer from
the saw and the harshly
inflicted wounds.

Today's Rumi

The tale of love must be heard from love itself. For like a mirror it is both mute and expressive.

Today's Rumi - Keep on bringing it Bruce

You have a duty to
perform. Do anything else,
do any number of things,
occupy your time fully,
and yet, if you do not do
this task, all your time will
have been wasted.

Today's Rumi

Stay in the company of lovers.
Those other kinds of people, they each
want to show you something.

A crow will lead you to an empty barn,
A parrot to sugar.

Today's Rumi

Life/Soul is like a clear
mirror; the body is dust on
it. Beauty in us is not
perceived, for we are
under the dust.

Today's Rumi

I am drunk and you are
drunk, who is going to take

hundred times drink a cup
or two less.
