Lack of inspiration

So it looks like I have finally arrived at that point where I have nothing to rant (complain) about. I have run out of things to put on my blog. That is why I haven't been posting so often. Also I am feeling very uninspired. So just to let you all know, posts are going to be very few and far between.....

Weekend Walk

As some of you may or may not know, we are undertaking a very big hiking holiday at the end of the year. We are going to walk the Camino in Spain. Well half of it anyway. So we decided to start practicing for the walk by doing some of the walking trails around Cape Town. We started this weekend and did the contour path below table mountain. It was amazing with the most spectacular views of the city and the mountain, and the most amazing water stops along the way. Below are some of the pics.

The 5 million steps up to the path

The boys all posing

View of the City through a hanging rock

Lions head, Signal Hill and Robben Island in the distance

The grade 1's

They were the best!

School concert

Last night was my niec's school concert and lucky I was in town to see it. It was very funny to see and hear all the parents calling their children's names as they appear on stage. The 'productions' were very cute even though they were clearly done by amateurs. Here my niece is in their first number for the night. The best though were the grade 1 number with the cutest little guys dancing away.

On our walk

In preseration for our walk at the end of the year, we are doing hikes all over the Peninsula from now untill we leave. Today we went walking in the Newlands forest and saw a granidilla bush with this passion flower on it, hence the name passion fruit.

Rude Awakening

And I am not referring to that stupid fat pig who runs the breakfast show on an unnamed old people radio station in Joburg...

This morning I was dragged out of my peaceful sleep by a sharp pain in my left shoulder. When I opened my eyes and realised what was going on, it was a little black cat purrrring away on my shoulder. I threw him across the bed as I tried to get back to sleep again, but then he came and slept right against my back, but above the duvet, so I was half open the rest of the morning....

Tonight I am locking him in the spare room.

Thought of the day

When Cheese gets its photo taken, what does it say......

Dreaming me sad

Last night I had a very disturbing dream. First I dreamt that my oldest dog Lucca was had no hair on one side of his body and when I took him to the vet, she said it was because he is itchy on that side and he rubs himself against anything to get the itch away. Then he ate a plastic lid off a take away bowl, and it got stuck under his skin on his back, and the vet said she doesn't want to cut it out as she doesn't think its worth it, but he couldn't walk because of it. After that I went to my friends house, and she was a psychologist and it was her birthday but she wasn't there. All I wanted to do was talk to her about my sick dog, and she was nowhere to be found. So I sat in her bedroom and sulked. It was horrible and this morning I woke up sad.

My PSP

So I am not sure if you remember but last year I had a operation to fix my deQuervain's Tendinitis and earlier that year I realised what is was that caused it. We thought it was my PSP. I was not convinced. About two weekends ago, I bought new games for my PSP, and was so excited that when I got home, I started playing and did not stop till that evening. I thought I was in the clear, as my hand was not hurting, and I was happy that I could play again. Unfortunately my excitement was short lived. The next day, my hand was aching again in the same place and hurting like hell.

Therefore, I am now forced to sell my PSP, with the three new games, and one of my favourite movies of all time, Labyrinth. I want to vomit. So if anybody knows of anyone who wants to buy it, I am selling it.
