So the day is just getting better!!!

My team (Brazil) is playing against Holland on Friday at 16:00 Normally my working hours are 08:00 - 16:00 so I will be home around 16:07. But on Friday, when they are playing, I am rostered to work until 18:00!!!!!!!!!

I am going home to get back into bed.

Ubuntu my Ass

To all those South Africans who proudly wave the South African flag and proclaim themselves proud of South Africa and proud to be South African. You can have it. This has to be the shittiest country to live in, in the entire world. Our country is filled with 'previously disadvantaged' thieves who believe that they are entitled to anything and everything they want, and then just take it.

During this wonderful World Cup where the whole world is so proud of South Africa for hosting and everybody is getting into the spirit of the world cup, it is extremely difficult to get into the spirit of it all when there are non white thieving bastards around in the world. And yes it is non white ones, because my mirror socks got stolen off my car last night outside my house, and there are no other white people in my area....

This entailment issue that South Africans have, is getting to be a problem for the growth and moral status of our country. I say find them, shoot them and root out the evil in our beautiful country...Curse FW

The Three Muttcatteers

Finally all three became friends. Even Leche played with Lego this afternoon. They acting like great friends and I tnink Leche has finally seen that this is another friend. He still gets a bit grumpy every now and then, but they are friends for the most part.

Cafe St George

Our church (St Georges Cathedral) has reopened the crypt as a coffee shop. The decor is very nice, the ambience amazing, the food great and really cheap. As it is with our church, there is a memorium for the march that happened on the 80's fom the cathedral against apartheid. I just walk past and go to the coffee shop in the back. Our church is a little too political at times.

Friends

At least someone has made friends. Lucca and Lego has become friends but Leche still doesn't like him very much.

England 0 - 0 Algeria

These two teams had never met each on the field of play but Algeria played extremely well last night denying England a single goal. Then the supporters. The England supporters were boring singing drunk sounding dragged out football songs, while Algeria had drums, chanted, waved their hands. All in all the Algerian camp was a lot more fun to be around.

Lego

Lego spent his first night with us. Everbody is fine with him, Lucca tolerates him, the cats are very curious of him but Leche can not stand him. Growls at him and snaps at him and does not want to be in the same room as him. Lego has one week to convince Leche or he goes back. I wil not have my dog hiding in his own house, and he was first!

Feel it, It is here

The 2010 World Cup is finally here. All over the country people are getting ready for the big spectacular tomorrow. Even me, who have in the past been very critical about the money being spent on something so insignificant and fleeting, is getting into the "gees" (spirit). Its a momentous occasion and the country is insane. Flags are on cars, in windows, on buildings, and vuvuselas are blowing in the streets.

As for the Bafana Support, the country is behind them 10000000000%. I, on the other hand, supports them and hope they get far, but I am realistic, so I support my team, BRAZIL!!!

I pray the World Cup goes well and without incident, and that people in the country still have something to live for after 11 July.

The baby is coming on Friday!!!

6 am

Yesterday started off really well. I woke up at 5 to go for a walk in the bush at around 6 along with four Cheetas. It was an amazing experience. They were running around our feet and playing in the grass. There was also a Spanish exchange student working on the lodge who joined us, so I got to speak some Spanish too. It was a great day untill I got to Hazyview where it all fell appart coz of bad directions to the guesthouse, finisned off with Steers!
